MDC is the latest progression for Desert Orchid- A new ultra bespoke range for those special occasions! With the large amounts of burlesque work we have started taking, we felt it would be nice to have something geared specifically towards the glitzy showgirl end of the market- really, just so we had an excuse to get out the sequins and feather fans!
We have no plans at present to discontinue our standard range, but we do want to offer something to everyone who comes our way, and to give the benefit of our constantly evolving skills and ideas. We hope you like the new designs as much as we have enjoyed making them!
So how is an MDC corset different to my Desert Orchid designs corset?
- We use an even wider range of measurements, usually starting from 14-16 for an underbust corset, (and including mid ribs) to give the most comfortable and unique fit we possibly can. This is especially aimed at our burlesque and performance clients, who need to feel that their corset is every inch a second skin. The difference to your comfort and therefore, your ability to tightlace even further, is astounding!
- The prices cover the fact that each corset is made as if it were to be a waist trainer of the highest caliber- giving you an item that is built to last several lifetimes!
- We have included lots of extras as standard- boned modesty panels, underbusking, front modesty panels, lots of steel boning, an integral waist tape as extra strength, even though the corset uses 4 layers, and we have sourced a new range of beautiful lace types and trimming. Some corset styles also include things like extensive diamante detail, suspenders, mock-ups, and more.
- Every purchase comes gift wrapped in a storage box! :D Great for special treats or presents.
-Our MDC designs cover ever more complex styles, and innovative designs for decoration, they incorporate systems with a lot of handwork or expensive materials that would not fit in with our D.O.D designs.
